Mesh backrest for chairs

The Safco Products 7153BL is a mesh backrest designed to attach to a chair with an elastic strap. It suits office workers, drivers and home users who want added lumbar support and airflow during long periods of sitting.

Breathable mesh and elastic strap

The open mesh construction allows air to circulate, reducing heat build-up on the back. The single elastic strap holds the unit in place on the chair but offers no height or depth adjustment beyond repositioning the strap itself.

17-1/2 by 15 inch panel

The backrest panel measures 17-1/2 inches wide by 15 inches high, covering the mid and upper back. Buyers who need a wider panel, a contoured lumbar curve or a rigid frame with multiple adjustment points should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 15 inch high backrest or a different size?

The mesh backrest measures 15 inches high and 17-1/2 inches wide, so it fits most standard office chairs and provides full lumbar support.

How does the 15 inch height feel when I sit at my desk?

At 15 inches tall the mesh panel supports the lower and mid back while the elastic strap holds it firmly against the chair back.

What does the elastic strap attachment mean for daily use?

The elastic strap wraps around the chair back to keep the mesh panel in place without tools or permanent mounting.
