Square Ash/Trash Receptacle

The Safco 9470NC Canmeleon is a 15 gal free-standing container built for outdoor breakroom and cleaning areas. Its square aggregate-polyethylene body and black UV-protectant finish suit facility-maintenance teams who need a single bin that handles both waste and cigarette disposal.

Heavy-Duty Plastic Build

The receptacle stands 32-3/4 In. tall with a 13-3/4 In. square footprint and includes a fixed ash top lid. Heavy-duty plastic construction resists weather and impact while the free-standing mounting lets crews reposition the unit without tools or permanent anchors.

Replaces Separate Ash and Waste Bins

Consolidating two streams into one 15 gal vessel reduces the number of collection points on patios or entryways. The step up is worthwhile when a site wants simpler servicing and a uniform black appearance without installing multiple smaller cans.

Questions about this item

How much waste does the 15 gal Canmeleon receptacle hold?

The unit is rated for 15 gallons of combined ash and trash, giving ample capacity for a busy entrance or breakroom area.

What footprint does the square 13-3/4 in. container need to stand freely?

It requires a level surface at least 13-3/4 inches wide by 13-3/4 inches deep, with 32-3/4 inches of vertical clearance for the lid.

Does the integrated ash top lift off for emptying the inner liner?

Yes, the ash top sits loosely on the polyethylene body; lift it straight up, remove the liner bag, then replace the top to keep rain out.
