Square 38-Gallon Waste Receptacle

The Safco 9475BL Canmeleon is a square, top-open waste receptacle built for indoor or outdoor use. Its 38-gallon capacity suits high-traffic areas such as breakrooms, lobbies or building entrances. High-density polyethylene construction includes UV inhibitors for weather resistance. A telescoping base conceals the bag for a neat appearance.

Compatibility Checks Before Ordering

Verify that standard 32" x 44" trash bags are available for your supply chain. Confirm the 9-1/2" diameter top opening fits the typical waste stream at the installation site. Ensure the square footprint matches the allocated floor space. No anchoring or weighting hardware is included, so plan for separate fixation if required.

Upgrade From Smaller or Open Bins

This unit replaces smaller-capacity bins that need frequent emptying in busy zones. The step up is worthwhile when bag changes disrupt workflow or when outdoor exposure damages lesser plastics. It is not suited for sites needing multiple segregated streams in one footprint or for spaces that cannot accommodate a square 38-gallon profile.
