Safco 9895 Fire-Safe Receptacle

The Safco 9895 is a 36 gallon square steel waste container designed for office breakrooms and high-traffic areas. Its spring-loaded, self-closing push door traps odours and conceals refuse while providing a fire-safe barrier for discarded materials. Black powder coat finish with chrome doors offers a professional appearance suitable for corporate environments.

Verify floor space and liner needs

Confirm the intended location accommodates a square 36 gallon footprint and allows clearance for the push-top mechanism to open fully. Decide whether to purchase the optional rigid plastic liner separately, as the base includes corner hooks for bag attachment but the liner itself is not included. Ensure the self-closing door operation suits the expected waste volume and user traffic.

Integrates with bag liners and existing decor

Corner hooks on the base secure standard bag liners while the optional rigid liner adds structural support for heavy loads. No-mar nylon feet protect flooring and matching vinyl bumpers prevent wall damage during placement. The fire-safe design helps contain internal fires, complementing office safety protocols without requiring electrical connections or special installation.
