What this cable does and who uses it

The Salala magnetic USB charging cable delivers up to 900 milliamps through a standard USB Type-A connector. It suits owners of devices that accept a magnetic charging tip and need a short, portable lead for everyday top-ups.

Capacity and headroom

At 85 centimetres the cord reaches a nearby power bank, laptop port or wall adapter without excess slack. The 900 milliamp rating handles typical phone charging but will not sustain higher-current fast-charge protocols that some handsets request.

Build, connectors and daily use

A male-to-male design plugs directly into any USB-A source, while the magnetic tip attaches quickly for one-handed connection. Lightweight construction makes it easy to carry, though the fixed tip limits compatibility to devices using the same magnetic interface.

Questions about this item

Will the 85 cm cable reach a USB port on my older desktop tower?

The cable is 85 cm (2.8 feet) long, so measure from your tower's USB Type A port to the device to confirm reach.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering the rated 900 mA output?

Use a USB power meter inline with the cable; it should read up to 900 mA when the connected device supports that draw.

Does the package include a magnetic tip for my device or only the USB Type A cable?

The box contains the 85 cm USB Type A to magnetic cable; magnetic tips for specific devices are sold separately.
