SKU CH-2C8J-BY5DJ

A 200 W isolated DC-DC converter that delivers a regulated 24.5 V output from a 20–35 V input with short-circuit, over-temperature, over-voltage and reverse-polarity protection

  • Product typeSkin Care Kits
  • Galvanic isolation protects sensitive equipment
  • 200 W output delivers ample power for demanding loads
  • Wide 20–35 V input suits variable DC sources
  • Regulated 24.5 V output ensures stable device operation
  • Comprehensive protection guards against shorts, overheat, overvoltage and reverse polarity

Isolated 200 W DC-DC Converter

The Samlex IDC-200B-24 is a fully isolated DC-DC converter rated at 200 watts. It delivers a regulated 24.5 volt output from a 20 to 35 volt DC input at up to 8 amps. The unit suits applications that require galvanic isolation between source and load. Compact housing and quick-disconnect terminals simplify integration.

Input Range and Protection Limits

The converter accepts a 20 to 35 volt DC input window and provides fold-back current limiting. Built-in safeguards cover short circuit, overheating, overvoltage and reverse polarity conditions. EMI and EMC compliance follows EN50081-1 and EN50082-1, with automotive approval under directive 95/54/CE. Output regulation holds at 24.5 volts across the specified input span.

Replaces Non-Isolated or Lower-Capacity Supplies

This model upgrades installations that previously used non-isolated converters or lower-wattage isolated units. The jump is worthwhile when galvanic isolation becomes mandatory for safety or noise immunity. It is not for systems needing an output voltage other than 24.5 volts or an input range outside 20 to 35 volts.
