Extra-Large 5-Gallon Storage Bags

These Samsill zip bags provide 5 gallons of capacity each, measuring 18 by 24 inches. The pack contains 15 clear LDPE bags designed for bulky items such as clothing, bedding, or seasonal decorations. They suit homeowners, travellers, and anyone organising large volumes in closets, garages, or during a move.

Simple Zipper Closure with Writable Labels

Each bag seals with a reinforced zipper top that closes by hand, requiring no tools or heat. Two writable label blocks are printed on the front for dating and content identification. The only common issue is overfilling beyond the zipper track, which can prevent a complete seal.

Capacity Limits of a Single-Layer LDPE Bag

The 5-gallon volume handles soft, compressible goods but cannot support heavy or sharp objects without risk of puncture. The clear polyethylene allows visual checks yet offers no moisture-barrier rating for long-term archival storage. Bags are reusable, though repeated stress on the zipper track will eventually degrade the seal.

How can I confirm the zipper on these 18" x 24" bags seals properly after packing?

Press along the full length of the zipper until it clicks shut, then gently press the bag; no air should escape if the seal is secure.

What comes in the 15-count pack and what must I supply myself?

Which capacity should I choose among the 3 Gallon, 5 Gallon and 10 Gallon options?

Choose the 5 Gallon size for bulky items like bedding or winter coats; the 3 Gallon suits smaller loads and the 10 Gallon handles extra-large volumes.
