Professional padfolio for organised note-taking

The Samsill 71736 Contrast Stitch Leather Padfolio is a bonded-leather portfolio designed for professionals who want a compact writing surface and document storage in one piece. It includes a 5" x 8" writing pad and opens flat for immediate use. The tan cover with contrast stitching presents a formal appearance suitable for meetings or interviews.

Lightweight cover with minimal thermal impact

As a passive leather accessory the padfolio generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no power during normal use. The bonded-leather surface remains at ambient temperature and adds negligible weight to a briefcase or bag. There are no electronic components to manage or cool.

Single writing pad limits extended sessions

The included 5" x 8" pad provides a fixed amount of lined paper; once it is filled the user must supply a replacement. Buyers who need continuous, high-volume note-taking without swapping pads will find this constraint restrictive.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the writing pad and what step do people skip?

Open the padfolio, slide the 5" x 8" pad under the interior document pocket, and close the cover so the pen loop aligns — skipping the alignment makes the pen loop hard to reach.

What part of this padfolio will wear out first and need replacement?

The included 5" x 8" writing pad is the only consumable; once the sheets are used up, replace it with any standard 5" x 8" pad.

What limit appears first when I carry this daily under sustained use?

The bonded leather cover and contrast stitching show surface abrasion before the interior document pocket, business card pocket, or pen loop lose function.
