Sustainable binder for office and study

The Samsill EarthChoice Durable View Binder is built for professionals and students who want a reliable filing tool with a lower environmental impact. It holds up to 325 sheets of three-hole punched paper in a 1-1/2 inch capacity ring. The cover uses up to 25 percent plant-based, renewable plastic and the chipboard contains a minimum of 98 percent post-consumer content. USDA certification confirms at least 59 percent biobased material overall.

Holds up under daily handling

The chipboard structure resists warping when the binder is carried between meetings or stored on crowded shelves. Rings stay aligned through repeated opening and closing, keeping 325 sheets secure without misfeeds. The overlay on front, back and spine protects custom inserts from scuffs and moisture during sustained use. ASTM D-6866 testing verifies the biobased content remains consistent over the product life.

Simple setup with clear pockets

Slide printed sheets into the front, back and spine overlays to personalise the binder in seconds. Two horizontal interior pockets accept loose documents without hole punching, reducing prep time. The only common issue is overfilling beyond the rated 325 sheets, which can strain the ring mechanism and make the cover difficult to close flat.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 1-1/2" binder produce when it sits on a shelf all day?

It produces no heat and no noise because it has no moving parts or power source.

What else must I already own so the 325-sheet capacity works as intended?

Three-hole punched paper in 8-1/2" x 11" size is required to fill the rings.

Will the 25% plant-based cover overlay work with printed inserts I already have from older binders?

Yes, the clear overlay on front, back and spine accepts standard-size inserts for customization.
