Samsung 15W Wireless Charging Pad

The Samsung 15W Fast Charge Wireless Pad delivers up to 15W of wireless power for compatible smartphones and earbuds. It works with USB PD and Super Fast Charging travel adapters to supply the required input. A built-in cooling fan helps maintain charging speed during use. The slim, compact design fits easily on a desk or nightstand.

15W Maximum Wireless Output

The single specification that determines suitability is the 15W peak wireless charging rate. Your device must support this power level to benefit from the fastest charge; phones limited to lower wireless speeds will draw only what they accept. The pad negotiates power automatically through the Qi standard. An appropriate wired adapter is required to reach the 15W figure.

Sustained Charging with Active Cooling

Under continuous load the internal fan spins to dissipate heat, allowing the pad to hold its higher output for longer than passively cooled alternatives. Thermal throttling is reduced so a compatible phone can stay near its maximum wireless charge rate through a full cycle. The LED indicator shows red while charging, green when full, and flashes red if a fault occurs. The light can be dimmed for overnight use.

Questions about this item

How fast will the 15W wireless pad actually charge my phone in daily use?

It delivers up to 15W wirelessly when paired with a USB PD or Adaptive Fast Charging adapter, so compatible phones reach full power noticeably quicker than standard 5W pads.

What charging standard does the pad rely on and what limits its speed?

The pad uses USB PD and Adaptive Fast Charging input; maximum wireless output is capped at 15W, so any higher-wattage brick will not push the pad past that ceiling.

How much desk space does the pad need and does the fan require extra clearance?

The slim, compact footprint fits tight spots, and the built-in cooling fan vents through the body, so only a few millimetres of side clearance are needed for airflow.
