Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger EP-TA20JWE

This Samsung OEM wall charger delivers Adaptive Fast Charging to compatible devices. It includes a six-foot USB-C cable that is not Samsung OEM. The adapter supports input voltages from 100 to 240 volts. It is designed for users who need rapid recharging at home or in the office.

Installation and common issues

Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet and connect the supplied Type-C cable to your device. The charger automatically negotiates 9 volts at 1.67 amps or 5 volts at 2.0 amps. If your phone lacks Adaptive Fast Charge support, it will charge at the standard 2 amp rate instead.

Capacity and headroom

The adapter charges compatible batteries from zero to 50 percent in roughly 30 minutes and up to 75 percent faster than a standard charger. It provides 5 volts at 2.0 amps for non-compatible phones and tablets. Devices without Qualcomm or Adaptive Fast Charge technology will not reach the accelerated speeds.
