It runs Android 14 with One UI 6.0 on a Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Buyers wanting 5G on a mid-range budget

This handset suits users who prioritise a smooth 120 Hz AMOLED panel, 5G connectivity and Samsung's One UI experience at an accessible price point. Shoppers who require expandable storage, a higher-tier chipset, or flagship-grade camera hardware should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Does the 128GB Samsung Galaxy A36 5G need a nano SIM card to access the 5G network?

Yes, the unlocked handset requires an active nano SIM from a carrier that supports 5G bands compatible with the Snapdragon modem.

Will my existing USB-A chargers and cables charge the Galaxy A36 5G at full speed?

The phone uses a USB-C port for charging; USB-A chargers will work but only at their rated output, not at the device's maximum charging rate.

How can I confirm the 6.6-inch AMOLED panel is running at its 120 Hz refresh rate after setup?

Enable "Show refresh rate" in Developer options; a small overlay will display 120 Hz when the screen is scrolling or animating.
