Mid-range unlocked Android phone

The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a 6.4-inch unlocked smartphone with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. It ships new in a B-grade cosmetic condition that may show dents, chips or scuffs on the body and hairline scratches on the screen. The device targets buyers who want a large Super AMOLED display and triple rear cameras without paying flagship prices.

Check your SIM and network needs

This unit uses a single Nano-SIM slot, so dual-SIM users must look elsewhere. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac on dual bands and includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio. The microSDXC card slot is dedicated, allowing storage expansion without sacrificing the SIM tray. Verify that your carrier’s LTE bands match the phone’s supported frequencies before ordering.

Glass front, plastic frame daily feel

The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 over a plastic back and frame, keeping weight to 166 g while making the rear prone to the noted cosmetic marks. A 6.4-inch 1080 x 2340 Super AMOLED panel delivers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio at roughly 403 ppi. The triple camera array combines a 25 MP wide, 8 MP ultrawide and 5 MP depth sensor, all recording 1080p video at 30 fps.
