Mid-range Android phone for everyday users

The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is an unlocked smartphone running Android 15 on an Exynos 1580 octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It targets buyers who want a reliable daily driver with a large Super AMOLED display and multi-lens camera system without flagship pricing. The device supports 5G connectivity on GSM networks worldwide.

GSM-only 5G with no charger included

This model operates on GSM frequencies including 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands with LTE data transfer. It does not support CDMA carriers, so buyers on Verizon or Sprint networks cannot activate it. The 5000mAh battery charges via USB Type-C, but the power adapter is sold separately in the box.

128GB storage may limit heavy media users

Internal storage is fixed at 128GB with no mention of microSD expansion in the specifications. Photographers shooting 50MP images or recording 4K video, and gamers installing large titles, will fill this space quickly. Buyers who need more storage should consider models with higher capacity or cloud backup plans.
