What the phone is and who it fits

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a new unlocked Android 13 smartphone with a 6.1 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display running at 120Hz. It ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. The dual-SIM handset supports 5G NSA Sub-6 on both slots and is intended for buyers who want a compact flagship without a microSD slot.

Storage capacity fixed at 128GB

Internal storage is 128GB and cannot be expanded by any card. Buyers who need more space for large media libraries or offline content should consider this limit before purchasing. The 8GB of RAM handles multitasking and current apps comfortably within that constraint.

Performance headroom from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The octa-core processor reaches 3.36 GHz on its prime Cortex-X3 core and is paired with 8GB RAM. Everyday tasks, gaming at 1080 x 2340 and 120Hz, and heavy multitasking run smoothly. Very sustained workloads or future titles requiring more than 128GB storage will hit the fixed capacity ceiling first.

Questions about this item

How does the 3.36 GHz octa-core processor perform in daily use?

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 runs at up to 3.36 GHz across eight cores, delivering fast app launches, smooth multitasking and responsive gaming on the 120 Hz display.

What 5G standard does the phone support and what speeds can I expect?

It supports 5G NSA Sub-6 on both SIM slots, so real-world speeds depend on your carrier's mid-band deployment and local signal quality.

Will the 6.1-inch body fit my current car mount or tripod clamp?

The handset measures 6.1 inches diagonally with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, so most adjustable clamps that accept widths up to about 75 mm will hold it securely.
