Premium Unlocked Smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S23+ is a factory-unlocked handset with 256 GB of internal storage in a Cream finish. It suits professionals and media enthusiasts who want a large display and long battery life without carrier restrictions. Buyers who need dual physical SIM slots or expandable memory should consider other options.

Thermals, Noise and Power

The 4,700 mAh cell supports 45 W fast charging and runs Android 13 out of the box. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel reaches 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode and peaks at 1,750 nits for HDR content. No active cooling is present, so sustained loads are managed passively through the aluminium frame.

Bundled Extras and Software

The single SIM tray accepts either a nano-SIM or an eSIM profile, simplifying carrier switching. IP68 sealing protects against dust and water immersion. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both front and back resists drops and scratches better than earlier generations. No charger, case or headphones are included in the box.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the nano-SIM or activate the eSIM on this Galaxy S23+ and which step do people often miss?

Use the ejector tool to open the tray on the lower edge, place the nano-SIM with the gold contacts facing down, then reinsert the tray; the step many skip is completing the carrier eSIM activation in Settings before assuming the line is live.

What component will most likely need replacement first on a unit that may already have dents, cracks or screen scratches?

The 4700 mAh battery is the part that chemically ages and will eventually hold less charge, so it is the first item you will probably need to swap on a device that already shows cosmetic wear.

At what point does the 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display hit its thermal ceiling during sustained heavy use?

The panel can reach 1750 nits peak brightness, but prolonged maximum output triggers thermal throttling that dims the screen well before the 120 Hz refresh rate itself becomes unstable.
