256 GB Storage Flagship

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra arrives with 256 GB of internal storage and 12 GB of RAM. It runs Android 13 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor built on a 4 nm process. The 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display reaches a 1440 x 3088 pixel resolution. This unlocked handset supports both GSM and CDMA networks with 5G connectivity.

Sustained Camera and Processing Loads

The 200 MP wide sensor with OIS and laser autofocus works alongside a 10 MP periscope telephoto offering 10x optical zoom and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. A 12 MP ultrawide and 12 MP front camera complete the array. The octa-core CPU combines one 3.36 GHz Cortex-X3 core, two 2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 cores, two 2.8 GHz Cortex-A710 cores and three 2.0 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. A 5000 mAh battery powers the 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate display during extended sessions.

Upgrade Path From Earlier Flagships

The S Pen integrates for remote camera control and precision input, a feature absent on the standard S23 and S23+ models. Storage tiers reach 512 GB on the Ultra, while the smaller models stop at 256 GB. The 6.8 inch QHD+ edge screen contrasts with the 6.6 inch and 6.1 inch FHD+ flat panels on the Plus and base variants. Buyers who do not need the periscope zoom module or the integrated stylus will find the lesser models sufficient.
