Galaxy S23 Ultra 512 GB Cream

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G S9180 is an unlocked smartphone with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage in a Cream finish. It runs Android 13 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset and features a 6.8 inch display. A 5000 mAh battery powers the device.

Suited for users needing high storage

This phone suits buyers who want 512 GB of onboard storage and a versatile quad-camera system with 200 MP main, 10x optical zoom and 3x optical zoom lenses. It is not for buyers who require CDMA network support, as the handset is GSM only. Users needing expandable storage via microSD should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: GSM-only 5G band support

The single specification that decides fit is the GSM-only radio with the listed 5G and 4G LTE bands. Confirm that your carrier operates on the supported 5G bands such as n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n28, n38, n40, n41, n78, n79 and the 4G LTE bands provided before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the nano-SIM cards into the S9180 and what step do people often miss?

Use the ejection pin to open the tray, place both nano-SIMs with gold contacts facing down, then push the tray fully flush — the click people miss is the waterproof seal engaging.

What battery replacement will the 5000 mAh cell need after a couple of years?

The sealed 5000 mAh unit is not user-replaceable; when capacity drops you book an authorised service to swap the whole battery module.

At what point does the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy throttle during long gaming sessions?

Sustained loads push the vapour-chamber cooling to its limit; the chip reduces clock speeds once the frame temperature hits the thermal ceiling.
