Compact flagship for everyday users

The Samsung Galaxy S24 is a new unlocked smartphone with 128 GB of storage in Onyx Black. Its 6.2 inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display runs at 120 Hz and reaches 2600 nits peak brightness. The handset measures 147 by 70.6 by 7.6 mm and weighs 167 or 168 g. It is supplied in C grade condition, meaning the body may show dents, cracks, chips or scuffs and the screen may have scratches or dark spots.

Single SIM slot and glass sandwich build

The device uses a single Nano SIM or eSIM slot, so only one line can be active at a time. Its aluminium frame is sandwiched between Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, which together provide the structural rigidity. There is no microSD expansion, so the 128 GB capacity is fixed. Buyers who need dual SIM operation or removable storage should look elsewhere.

Sustained brightness and thermal balance

The 120 Hz panel can maintain 2600 nits peak output during outdoor use without throttling in short bursts. The compact 7.6 mm profile leaves limited volume for heat dissipation, so extended heavy workloads will cause the frame to warm and the processor to reduce clock speeds. The 4000 mAh battery supports 25 W wired charging, which replenishes the cell at a steady rate rather than in rapid bursts.

Questions about this item

How long does the 4000 mAh battery last under continuous heavy use before it needs recharging?

The 4000 mAh cell powers the 6.2 inch 120 Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon or Exynos processor; real-world screen-on time varies by workload but typically reaches a full day of mixed use before the 25 W charger is required.

Does the aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 construction keep the phone cool and quiet during all-day operation?

The Armor aluminium frame and dual Victus 2 glass panels dissipate heat from the chipset without any moving parts, so the device stays silent and surface temperatures remain comfortable during extended sessions.

Will the single Nano-SIM and eSIM tray work with my existing carrier plan without extra hardware?

Yes, the tray accepts one physical Nano-SIM or an embedded eSIM profile, so you only need an active carrier subscription — no additional adapters or modules are required.
