Capacity and audience

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ provides 512GB of internal storage in an Onyx Black finish. It is an unlocked smartphone intended for users who need generous local space for media and apps without carrier restrictions. The glass-and-aluminium construction uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides for added durability.

Sustained performance

A 4900mAh battery powers the 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel at up to 120Hz adaptive refresh and 2600 nits peak brightness. The display supports HDR10+ and QHD+ resolution of 3120x1440 for extended viewing sessions. Wired charging reaches 45W and wireless charging reaches 15W to replenish the cell during heavy use.

Interface limits

The device accepts a single Nano-SIM or eSIM, so dual-active lines are not supported. Storage is fixed at 512GB with no expansion slot, limiting offline libraries to that capacity. The 6.7-inch form factor at 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7 mm may not suit buyers who prefer a more compact handset.

Questions about this item

How much heat and battery drain should I expect from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip and 120 Hz display during all-day use?

The 4900 mAh battery is built for full-day runtime; the LTPO panel drops to 1 Hz when static to save power, and the vapour-chamber cooling keeps the 7.7 mm frame from getting hot under sustained loads.

What charging gear do I already need to reach the 45 W wired and 15 W wireless speeds quoted for this handset?

You need a USB-PD 3.0 PPS charger rated at 45 W or higher plus a 5 A USB-C cable for wired speed, and any Qi-certified pad capable of 15 W for wireless charging.

Will my existing Nano-SIM card and eSIM profiles work straight away in the dual-SIM tray?

Yes — the tray accepts one Nano-SIM alongside an eSIM, so current physical SIMs and carrier eSIM profiles activate without adapters or new hardware.
