Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 512GB

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G S9280 is a factory-unlocked Android 12 smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1750 nits peak brightness. The device supports physical dual SIM cards and operates on GSM, HSPA and LTE networks. Galaxy AI functions include Circle to Search with Google and AI-assisted translation during calls.

Buyers who want on-device AI

This model suits users who want integrated Galaxy AI features such as Photo Assist with AI-enhanced HDR previews and editing tools. The rear camera array combines a 200MP wide sensor with 10MP 10x periscope telephoto, 10MP 3x telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide modules, all with optical image stabilisation on the telephoto lenses. Buyers who need expandable storage via microSD or a 3.5mm headphone jack should look at other devices, as neither is provided.

200MP main camera with laser autofocus

The decisive specification is the 200MP f/1.7 wide-angle camera that uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with 0.6µm pixels, laser autofocus and multi-directional PDAF. This sensor captures significantly more detail than lower-resolution modules and enables extensive cropping without quality loss. If maximum photographic resolution and flexible zoom ranging from 0.6x ultra-wide to 10x optical telephoto are the priority, this camera system meets that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a charger or only the 6.8" phone and cable?

The S9280 ships as a factory-unlocked handset with a USB-C cable; no wall charger is included in the packaging.

Should I pick the 512 GB model or a lower capacity for 200 MP photos and 8K video?

512 GB gives ample room for large 200 MP raw files, 8K clips and AI-generated edits without needing cloud offload.

What does the 1750 nits peak brightness mean when I use the 6.8" screen outdoors?

At 1750 nits peak the Dynamic AMOLED stays readable in direct sunlight, and HDR10+ content keeps highlight detail.
