Purpose & audience

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is an unlocked Android smartphone with 256 GB of storage and a 6.9 inch AMOLED display running at 120 Hz. It suits buyers who want a premium bar-style handset without carrier restrictions and a large, high-refresh screen for media and productivity.

Fit & limits

This model fits users who need a single-SIM, 256 GB device on an open network and value a 6.9 inch 1440 x 3120 panel. Buyers who require dual-SIM capability, expandable storage beyond 256 GB, or a smaller form factor should consider other options.

Deciding spec

The critical figure is the 256 GB internal storage paired with a single SIM slot; if your workflow demands more onboard space or a second active line, this handset will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 6.9 inch AMOLED panel at 120 Hz generate during all-day use?

The 6.9 inch AMOLED display running at 120 Hz is designed for efficient thermal management during extended sessions, keeping surface temperatures comfortable for continuous handheld use.

Does the single SIM card slot mean I must already have an active nano-SIM from my carrier to activate service?

Yes, the unlocked handset accepts one nano-SIM, so you need an active SIM from any compatible carrier to make calls and use mobile data.

Will my existing USB-A chargers and micro-USB cables work with the USB-C port on this S25 Ultra?

The device uses USB-C for charging and data; USB-A chargers require a USB-A to USB-C cable, while micro-USB cables are not compatible without an adapter.
