Compact foldable smartphone

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is a 2024 foldable Android phone with a 6.7 inch main display, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 and reaches a CPU speed of 3.4 GHz. The silver handset is sold unlocked for use on compatible networks.

Flexible form factor upgrade

Moving from a traditional candy-bar phone to this foldable design adds a 120 Hz flexible screen that can stand on its own in Flex Mode. The jump is worth it for creators who want hands-free FlexCam framing, Camcorder Mode video control or on-device Interpreter translations across 16 languages without unfolding the device.

Foldable display constraints

The flexible 6.7 inch panel enables half-fold use cases but introduces a visible crease and a narrower cover screen for quick tasks. Dust resistance is lower than on sealed slabs, and the hinge mechanism limits long-term durability compared with rigid glass designs. Heavy multitaskers may find the single internal display restrictive for split-screen work.
