Foldable 6.7-inch 256GB smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 (5G) is a foldable handset with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and folds into a compact 85.1 x 71.9 x 15.1 mm form factor. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 1750 nits peak brightness. It is fully unlocked for use on compatible networks.

Check SIM and app compatibility before ordering

The device accepts a Nano-SIM and an eSIM, so verify that your carrier supports either format. There is no memory card slot, so the 256GB capacity cannot be expanded. The plastic front layer on the unfolded screen and the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the cover display may show hairline scratches or scuffs consistent with Grade B condition. Ensure your essential apps run on Android with this processor and 8GB of RAM.

Upgrade from a non-foldable or lower-storage phone

This model replaces a traditional candy-bar smartphone with a foldable 6.7-inch screen and a 3.4-inch cover display for quick interactions. The jump is worthwhile if you want a pocketable device that unfolds to a tablet-like aspect ratio and need 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Buyers who require expandable storage or a pristine, unmarked body should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a charger or case, or do I need to buy them separately?

The phone ships without a charger or protective case in the box. You will need to purchase a USB-C power adapter and any case separately.

Should I choose the 256 GB or 512 GB version if I keep lots of photos and videos offline?

The 256 GB model holds a large library, but the 512 GB option doubles that space with the same 8 GB RAM and UFS 4.0 speed, so heavy offline media users benefit from the larger capacity.

How bright does the 6.7 inch foldable screen get outdoors, and does the 120 Hz refresh stay on all the time?

The main display reaches 1750 nits peak brightness for outdoor visibility and runs at 120 Hz for smooth scrolling, though the phone may lower the rate to save power when viewing static content.
