Compact foldable with 512GB storage

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 (5G) in Lavender is an unlocked foldable smartphone built around a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display that runs at 120Hz and reaches 1750 nits peak brightness. A 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover screen shows notifications and widgets while the device stays folded. With 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 8GB of RAM, it suits users who want a pocketable form factor without sacrificing capacity.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under continuous load

The octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 pairs a 3.36 GHz Cortex-X3 prime core with four 2.8 GHz performance cores and three 2.0 GHz efficiency cores, while the Adreno 740 GPU handles graphics. This architecture distributes demanding tasks across core clusters so the phone sustains high frame rates during extended gaming or multitasking sessions rather than throttling after a short burst. The 120Hz panel keeps motion smooth throughout.

Upgrade path from smaller-storage foldables

Moving from a 256GB foldable to this 512GB model removes the need to offload photos, 4K video clips or large apps to cloud storage on a daily basis. The jump is worth it for creators who shoot 12 MP dual-camera footage with OIS and ultrawide flexibility, or for anyone who keeps a full media library offline. Buyers who need expandable storage via microSD should look elsewhere, as the slot is absent.

Questions about this item

How loud does the cooling fan get when the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 runs at 3.36 GHz for hours?

The phone has no fan; the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is passively cooled, so there is no fan noise even under sustained load.

What SIM cards do I need to activate service on the Nano-SIM and eSIM slots?

You need a physical nano-SIM from your carrier and an eSIM profile they provide; both slots are ready on the unlocked unit.

Will my existing USB-C chargers and cables work with this handset?

Yes, the device charges and transfers data over USB-C, so any standard USB-C cable and power adapter will work.
