5.1 Channel Soundbar System

The Samsung HW-B73CD/ZA delivers a 5.1 channel soundbar system with a wireless subwoofer for home theatre use. Dolby Digital 5.1ch and DTS Virtual:X surround sound create a wider audio stage. Built-in centre and side speakers improve dialogue clarity. Adaptive Sound optimises audio automatically based on content type.

Living-room viewers wanting simple surround

This system suits viewers who want multi-channel audio without running speaker cables across the room. The wireless subwoofer adds low-frequency impact for movies and music. Buyers who need HDMI eARC pass-through or dedicated rear satellite speakers should look at other models. It also lacks built-in voice-assistant microphones for smart-home control.

Wireless subwoofer and sound modes

The included wireless subwoofer provides bass boost for deeper boom without a physical connection to the bar. Game Mode synchronises directional audio cues for competitive play. Adaptive Sound analyses each scene and adjusts the frequency balance for clearer effects and speech. No additional cables or calibration microphones are supplied in the package.
