24" Interactive Signage

The Samsung KM24A is a 24 inch interactive digital signage display with a capacitive touchscreen. It presents full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 250 cd/m2 brightness. The cabinet uses a gray white finish and includes a single 5W speaker. It operates on 100 to 240 VAC power.

Suitable for kiosk and retail use

This unit suits integrators building self-service kiosks, wayfinding stations or point-of-sale terminals needing RS232C and RJ45 connectivity. The VESA 200 x 200mm mount supports fixed installations. Buyers requiring higher brightness for direct sunlight or multi-touch gesture recognition beyond capacitive input should evaluate alternative displays.

Capacitive touchscreen defines application

The capacitive touchscreen technology determines compatibility with intended touch workflows. It supports direct finger input for interactive menus and transactions. Ensure your content software and mounting plan align with this single-touch optimised interface and the provided RS232C, RJ45 and USB ports.

Questions about this item

What does the 1920 x 1080 resolution mean for daily use on this 24-inch screen?

The 1920 x 1080 resolution on the 24-inch panel gives a pixel density around 92 PPI, so text and UI elements look sharp at normal viewing distances for signage or point-of-sale tasks.

How does the 250 cd/m² brightness perform in a real installation?

At 250 cd/m² the KM24A is suited to indoor environments with controlled lighting; direct sunlight or very bright retail windows will wash out the image.

Which devices can I connect through the RS232C, RJ45 and USB ports?

The three RS232C ports link serial peripherals such as barcode scanners or payment terminals, the RJ45 out connects to an EFT terminal, and the three USB ports accept flash drives, keyboards or touch-controller cables.
