98-inch 4K UHD commercial display

The Samsung QM98C is a 98-inch 4K UHD commercial display built for professional environments that need large-scale visual impact. Its VA LCD panel delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution with 500 nits brightness and a 5500:1 contrast ratio. Dynamic Crystal Color technology renders over one billion shades for lifelike images. The ultra-slim 48.1 mm depth allows space-efficient installation in corporate, retail or public signage settings.

Suited for continuous signage; not for desktop work

This display suits businesses running 24/7 digital signage with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Tizen 7.0 OS for wireless screen sharing and mobile calibration. It integrates with MagicINFO S10 and VXT CMS platforms for centralised content management. Buyers needing a desktop monitor for close-up productivity or colour-critical editing should look at smaller, calibrated panels instead.

Sustained 24/7 brightness and colour stability

Under sustained load the panel maintains 500 nits brightness and 5500:1 contrast around the clock without the dimming or drift seen in consumer TVs. Quantum Processor Lite 4K handles continuous upscaling and colour mapping without thermal throttling. The slim 48.1 mm chassis dissipates heat passively, so image quality stays consistent during extended daily operation.

Questions about this item

What mounting standard and depth clearance does the 48.1 mm slim panel require?

The 48.1 mm depth fits standard VESA mounts; verify the wall bracket supports the 98 inch panel weight and allows ventilation space behind the display.

Can the 500 nits brightness and 5500:1 contrast ratio run continuously alongside legacy 1080p signage players?

Yes, the 24/7 rated panel accepts 1080p sources via HDMI while the Quantum Processor Lite 4K up-scales to 3840 x 2160 without reducing the 500 nits output.

How do I confirm the Tizen 7.0 OS and MagicINFO S10 player are active after first power-on?

The home screen shows the Tizen 7.0 version and a MagicINFO S10 status icon; run the mobile Smart Calibration app to verify colour uniformity across the 98 inch VA panel.
