42" OLED panel for gaming and streaming

The Samsung QN42S90HAEXZA is a 42-inch OLED television built on the 2026 S90H series platform. It combines self-illuminating pixels with a 165Hz native refresh rate and Glare Free technology to reduce reflections. The NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor uses 128 neural networks for 4K AI upscaling, motion enhancement and real-time picture optimisation.

Suited for high-refresh gaming

Players who need VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC compatibility at 4K 165Hz will benefit from Motion Xcelerator and Game Bar features. Buyers who require more than four HDMI inputs, a built-in ATSC 3.0 tuner or a larger screen diagonal should consider other models.

165Hz native refresh rate decides fit

The panel refreshes at 165Hz with VRR support across all four HDMI ports, enabling tear-free motion for PC and console sources that can output at that rate. If the connected hardware cannot sustain 4K at 165Hz, the extra headroom remains unused.
