55-inch OLED TV for gaming and streaming

The Samsung QN55S90HAEXZA is a 55-inch OLED TV built for 2026. It delivers 4K resolution at a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth motion in games and sports. The NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor uses 128 neural networks to enhance picture and sound across streaming, live TV and cloud gaming. Graphite Black finish and a LaserSlim design suit modern living rooms.

165Hz refresh rate with VRR and G-Sync

The single specification that decides fit is the 165Hz panel combined with VRR, FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync support. This enables tear-free 4K gaming at high frame rates from compatible PCs and consoles. HDMI 2.1 bandwidth across four ports carries 4K 165Hz signals without compression. Buyers who need higher refresh rates or lower input lag than 165Hz provides should look elsewhere.

Fixed VESA mount and surge protector included

The bundle supplies a Walts fixed mount compatible with VESA patterns from 100x100mm to 700x400mm and screens from 43 to 90 inches up to 175lbs. It installs into wood stud or concrete for flexible placement. The Amber 6-outlet surge protector adds a centre indicator light. Installers must verify stud spacing and wall type before drilling; the fixed mount offers no tilt or swivel adjustment after mounting.

Questions about this item

How does the 165Hz refresh rate behave when a console or PC is connected?

Motion Xcelerator 165Hz drives the panel at up to 165 frames per second, so fast-paced gaming and high-frame-rate video appear smoother with reduced motion blur.

What does the HDMI 2.1-capable port actually limit in everyday use?

Four HDMI inputs support 4K at 165Hz with VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro and G-SYNC, so the connection does not bottleneck modern consoles or graphics cards.

Will the included fixed mount fit the 55-inch screen and where can it be installed?

The Walts FIXED-MOUNT-43-90 handles 43 to 90 inch displays up to 175 lbs with VESA patterns from 100x100 mm to 700x400 mm, and it mounts into wood studs or concrete.
