85-Inch 8K Neo QLED Display

The Samsung QN990F is an 85-inch Neo QLED television that delivers 7680 by 4320 resolution. Quantum Matrix Mini LEDs provide precise control over dark and bright areas of the picture. The NQ8 AI Gen3 processor drives Samsung Vision AI to optimise picture and sound in real time. A nearly edgeless design and Graphite Black finish suit premium living-room installations.

Buyers wanting wireless simplicity

Wireless One Connect moves the connection hub away from the screen for a clutter-free setup. Glare Free Anti Reflection reduces mirror-like reflections in bright rooms. Dolby Atmos with Object Tracking Sound Pro creates multi-dimensional audio that follows on-screen action. Shoppers who need a smaller screen or a lower-resolution panel should consider other models in the range.

Sustained 8K processing with Mini LED stability

The NQ8 AI Gen3 processor maintains upscaling quality and local-dimming precision during long viewing sessions. Mini LED backlighting delivers consistent peak brightness without the drift seen in edge-lit designs. Real Depth Enhancer Pro continues to enhance foreground contrast scene after scene. Wireless One Connect keeps the signal path stable for extended 8K streaming.

Questions about this item

What HDMI version do my sources need to supply 8K at 7680 x 4320 to the QN990F?

Connect 8K sources with HDMI 2.1 cables so the NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor receives the full 7680 x 4320 signal for native 8K playback.

Will my older 1080p Blu-ray player still work with the Neo Quantum HDR 8K Pro panel?

Yes — the NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor upscales 1080p content to near-8K detail while Neo Quantum HDR 8K Pro adjusts contrast for the Mini LED backlight.

How can I confirm Samsung Vision AI is actively enhancing picture and sound after setup?

Open the on-screen AI Picture and AI Sound menus; real-time indicators show Vision AI adjusting depth, glare reduction and Object Tracking Sound Pro per scene.
