Immersive 49-inch OLED gaming monitor

The Samsung S49DG936SN is a 49-inch curved OLED display built for immersive gaming and multimedia work. It delivers a 5120 x 1440 resolution at 240 Hz with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Quantum Dot technology produces 1 billion colour hues, while the 1800R curvature wraps the field of view for deeper engagement.

Ideal for single-screen sim rigs.

This monitor suits enthusiasts who want one expansive panel for racing simulators, flight sims or wide timeline editing. Height and tilt adjustment plus a USB hub simplify desk ergonomics. Builders planning multi-monitor arrays or vertical stacking should look at smaller flat panels instead.

240 Hz refresh rate at 5120 x 1440 drives

The defining specification is the 240 Hz V-Sync rate paired with the 5120 x 1440 native resolution. A graphics card capable of sustaining high frame rates at that pixel count is required to benefit fully. If the system cannot match that throughput, the panel's speed advantage goes unused.
