77-inch OLED 4K Smart TV

The Samsung S85FA is a 77-inch OLED television with 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor to upscale content to 3840 x 2160 and optimise sound. The set runs the Tizen smart platform with multiple voice assistants, Samsung Health and a SolarCell remote. Graphite Black finish suits modern living rooms.

Connectivity and placement check

Verify you have space for a 77-inch panel and a VESA mount or stand that supports the weight. Ensure your broadband router can serve the TV over Wi-Fi 5 or the wired Ethernet port for smart features and updates. Four HDMI inputs and two USB-A ports are available for consoles, soundbars and external storage.

Thermals noise and power

OLED panels emit light per pixel without a backlight, so the screen runs cooler than equivalent LED models during normal viewing. The 2.0-channel speaker system with OTS Lite and Dolby Atmos delivers dialogue and effects at typical living-room volumes without audible fan noise. An Eco Sensor and Auto Power Saving mode reduce electricity draw when the room is dark or the TV is idle.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Samsung S85FA 77" OLED and what must I buy separately?

The bundle includes the 77" OLED TV, a 6.8oz 200ml screen cleaner spray, and an Amber protection plan covering 4 years beyond the 1-year manufacturer warranty. HDMI cables, wall-mount brackets and any external audio gear are not included.

Which version of the S85FA should I choose for my setup?

Only one configuration is offered: a 77-inch 4K OLED panel in Graphite Black with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, 120Hz refresh, four HDMI inputs, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, two USB-A ports and the BT SolarCell remote.

What does the 120Hz refresh rate mean once the TV is in my living room?

Motion Xcelerator 120Hz drives the panel at up to 120 frames per second, so fast sports, gaming and action scenes stay sharp with minimal blur or judder on the 3840 x 2160 OLED display.
