128 GB dual-connector flash drive

The SanDisk Phone Drive Flip provides 128 GB of storage with a Lightning connector for iPhone and a USB Type-A connector for computers. It is built for iPhone users who need to offload photos, videos and contacts quickly. Password protection keeps files private across devices.

Suits iPhone owners wanting local backup

This drive serves users who prefer a physical backup instead of cloud sync and who regularly move large media libraries to a desktop. It does not help buyers who need more capacity than 128 GB or who require a USB Type-C connection for newer laptops and iPads.

128 GB capacity with USB 3.1 Gen 1 speed

The 128 GB capacity comfortably holds thousands of photos and hours of video for typical phone backups. USB 3.1 Gen 1 transfer rates move large libraries to a computer in minutes. The drive runs out when media collections exceed 128 GB or when a USB Type-C port is the only available interface.

Questions about this item

Does the iPhone need a Lightning port for the SanDisk Phone Drive Flip 128GB to work?

Yes, the drive plugs directly into the Lightning connector on the iPhone; no extra adapter or cable is required.

Can I still use the drive with a computer that only has USB 2.0 Type-A ports?

The USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A connector is backward-compatible, so it will work at USB 2.0 speeds on older ports.

How do I know the automatic backup has finished after I plug the drive into my iPhone?

The iXpand Drive app shows a progress bar and displays a "Backup Complete" message when all selected photos, videos and contacts are copied.
