Scented washable marker set

The Mr. Sketch 2003992 set contains 36 scented washable markers designed for children over three years old. Each marker releases a distinct fragrance matching its ink colour to add a sensory dimension to drawing and colouring activities. The washable formula allows marks to be removed from skin and most clothing with water. A multi-use chisel tip lets the user switch between fine, medium and broad strokes without changing tools.

Behaviour during extended colouring sessions

The chisel tip maintains consistent ink flow across fine, medium and broad line widths so that coverage remains even during long periods of use. Washable ink reduces the risk of permanent stains on hands or fabrics when sessions run longer than expected. Scent intensity stays noticeable throughout the drawing period without becoming overwhelming. The plastic barrel resists cracking when handled continuously by younger users.

Practical limits of the washable ink system

Ink is formulated to wash from skin and most washable fabrics with water, though some materials may retain faint colour after laundering. Chisel tips produce line variation but cannot achieve the precision of a dedicated fine-point nib for detailed lettering. The set provides 36 assorted colours only; additional shades or duplicate hues require a separate purchase. Markers are not refillable, so depleted units must be replaced.

Questions about this item

Do these markers dry out or smell strong after a full day of classroom use?

The washable, water-based ink stays workable during long sessions and each of the 36 colours carries its own light, child-friendly scent that fades naturally on paper.

Does the 36-count set include caps that seal tightly so I do not need extra storage boxes?

Every marker in the set ships with its own snap-on cap; the chisel tips remain covered and ready without any separate organiser.

Will the chisel tips on these Mr. Sketch markers work on the older construction-paper pads I already have?

Yes — the multi-use chisel point lays down fine, medium or broad lines on standard construction paper, cardstock and everyday drawing paper.
