Extra Fine White Paint Marker

The Sanford 35531 is an oil-based paint marker with an extra-fine tip, sold individually for detailed work. Its white opaque ink delivers a glossy finish on both light and dark surfaces. The valve-action mechanism provides smooth, controlled paint release for legible lettering. It suits artists, crafters and anyone needing permanent marks on varied materials.

AP Non-Toxic Certification

The marker carries AP non-toxic certification, making it safer for classroom, studio and home use. Its xylene-free formula reduces harsh fumes during extended sessions. Fade-resistant, water-resistant and abrasion-resistant paint ensures marks stay visible after handling or weather exposure. The permanent oil base adheres to metal, wood, glass, plastic, stone and more.

Extra Fine Tip for Detail

The extra-fine tip is the single specification that determines suitability for precise lines and small lettering. Broad-tip markers cannot achieve the same resolution on intricate designs or tight spaces. Buyers needing wide coverage or fill-in work should choose a different tip size. This tip excels at outlining, labelling and fine art detail.

Questions about this item

How often will the valve-action nib need cleaning or replacement on the Sanford 35531?

The valve-action design releases paint smoothly; wipe the nib after each use and store horizontally to prevent clogging, extending nib life without scheduled replacement.

What runs out first during a long poster project — the 35531's ink supply or the nib performance?

The single-unit marker holds a finite volume of oil-based paint; the ink supply depletes before the extra-fine nib wears out under normal marking pressure.

Does the xylene-free formula on the 35531 produce noticeable odour or heat when used continuously indoors?

The AP non-toxic, xylene-free ink has low odour and generates no heat; ventilation is still recommended for extended indoor sessions.
