Four-port T1/E1 voice board

The Sangoma A104E is a PCI Express voice board that provides four RJ-45 ports for T1 or E1 carrier connections. It is built for telephony systems that need to terminate multiple digital trunk lines in a single server.

Telephony integrators needing dense trunk

This board suits installers and PBX builders who require four independent T1 or E1 spans on one PCI Express slot. Sites that need only analogue FXS or FXO interfaces, or that require more than four digital spans per card, should consider other form factors.

Four RJ-45 ports on PCI Express

The decisive specification is the four RJ-45 ports delivering T1 and E1 signalling over a single PCI Express host interface. This port count and carrier support determine whether the board matches the trunk density and line type your installation requires.

Questions about this item

Does this board need a free PCI Express slot on the motherboard?

Yes, it plugs into an available PCI Express slot to provide the host interface for the four ports.

Can the four RJ-45 ports carry both T1 and E1 lines at the same time?

Each port supports either T1 or E1 framing, so the board can handle a mix of both carrier types across its four ports.

How can I confirm the board is recognised after installing it?

The system should list the device with its four network interfaces, and the status LEDs on the RJ-45 ports will show link activity for each connected span.
