A 220W replacement projector lamp module with a Philips UHP bulb and housing, rated for 2,000 hours of operation
This new projector lamp module is built for the Sanyo PLC-XM100L using the POA-LMP137 part number. It arrives as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly so it can be installed straight into the projector without extra steps. The unit uses a genuine Philips UHP 220W bulb and is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards. It suits owners who need a direct, ready-to-fit replacement for their existing lamp.
The lamp draws 220 watts during operation, which determines the heat output and cooling demand of the projector. A UHP bulb of this rating runs at high temperature and relies on the projector’s internal fan system for thermal management. Acoustic noise will follow the projector’s own cooling profile rather than the lamp itself. Power consumption remains steady at the rated wattage throughout the lamp’s life.
This module replaces a lamp that has reached or passed its 2,000-hour rated life, restoring brightness and colour accuracy lost through ageing. It also covers units that fail to ignite or show flickering before the hour limit. The jump is worth it when image quality has dropped enough to affect presentations or viewing. Buyers whose projectors require a different part number or wattage cannot use this lamp.

The module arrives fully assembled with bulb and housing. Power off the projector, let it cool completely, remove the old lamp cage, insert the new module until it clicks, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the step most people forget.
The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of use. After that period the brightness drops and the projector will warn you; the only maintenance is replacing the entire POA-LMP137 module with a new one.
The 2,000-hour rated life is the primary limit; extended sessions also raise internal temperatures, so the projector’s thermal protection may shut it down before the hour limit is reached.
