Questions about this item

How much paper can the high-capacity clip hold before it stops gripping?

The clip is rated to securely hold a 1" stack of paper, which is its stated maximum capacity.

Does the aluminum body or the clip mechanism get hot or make noise during all-day use?

It is a passive aluminum clipboard with no moving parts that generate heat or noise, so it stays silent and at room temperature.

What size paper must I already have for the compartments to be useful?

The board is designed for 8-1/2" wide by 12" high sheets, so standard letter-size paper fits the clip and both storage areas.
