Widetone Seamless Background Paper 86" x 36'

The SAVAGE Widetone Seamless Background Paper in Bluemist #41 delivers a professional-grade backdrop for photographers and videographers. Its fine-tooth, non-reflective surface ensures a smooth, even background essential for portrait, commercial and product work. The soft, light blue hue adds a bright, misty ambiance to images. Acid-free, lignin-free and pH-neutral composition protects artwork integrity over time.

Replaces smaller or textured backdrops

This 86" wide by 36' long roll upgrades from narrower or patterned backgrounds that limit composition or show seams. The generous dimensions accommodate full-body shots and larger setups without interruption. The jump is worth it when consistent colour fidelity and a continuous surface reduce post-production editing time. Superior durability handles frequent unrolling and repositioning across multiple sessions.

Capacity and headroom for studio use

The 145 gsm basis weight and 7.6 mil thickness provide a sturdy feel that resists tears and punctures during extended use. The 36' length offers ample material for numerous shoots before a new roll is required. It comfortably handles high-volume portrait sessions, product tables and large-scale crafting projects. The paper runs out when the roll is fully consumed or if heavy foot traffic accelerates surface wear.

Questions about this item

What width backdrop stand or support system is required for the 86" roll?

The roll is 86 inches wide, so the crossbar or support system must span at least 86 inches to hold it without sagging.

How should the paper be unrolled and secured to avoid creases or tears during setup?

Unroll only the length needed for the session, let the weight of the paper hang straight, and clamp the top edge to the crossbar; avoid pulling the paper tight, which causes wrinkles.

When does the 145 gsm Bluemist #41 paper need to be replaced?

Replace the roll when the surface shows visible dirt, scuffs, tears, or permanent creases that can no longer be trimmed away; the acid-free, lignin-free stock resists yellowing but wears with heavy foot traffic.
