Superior Durability for Creative Professionals

The SAVAGE Widetone Seamless Background Paper measures 86 inches wide by 36 feet long in Focus Gray #60. Constructed from 145 gsm paper with a 7.6 mil thickness, it resists tears and punctures during frequent studio use. The acid-free, lignin-free, pH-neutral composition ensures archival safety for artwork and long-term projects. Its fine-tooth, non-reflective surface delivers vibrant colour accuracy for photography, videography and visual design.

Check Compatibility with Your Support System

Verify that your backdrop stand or wall-mounted system accommodates an 86-inch wide roll and can bear the weight of a 36-foot length. Ensure the core diameter matches your existing holders or brackets before ordering. Confirm you have sufficient floor or wall space to unroll and trim the paper cleanly. The seamless design requires a smooth, flat mounting surface to prevent creases or damage during setup.

Integrates into Studio and Creative Workflows

This roll provides a continuous, smooth backdrop that minimises post-production editing for portrait, product and commercial shoots. The generous dimensions free you from splicing smaller sheets, while the durable surface withstands foot traffic and prop placement. Acid-free properties allow safe contact with artwork, crafts and archival materials. Simply pull the needed length, trim when soiled, and advance fresh paper for the next session.

Questions about this item

Does the 86-inch wide by 36-foot roll include a core or stand, or must I buy a background support system separately?

The roll ships as paper only on a core; a background support system, crossbar, or clamps must be purchased separately to hang and tension the 86" x 36' sheet.

How do I decide between the #60 Focus Gray and other Savage Widetone colours for my studio work?

Choose #60 Focus Gray when you need a neutral, mid-tone grey that renders skin tones naturally and meters consistently; select a different Savage Widetone colour only if the creative brief calls for a specific hue or a lighter/darker tonal value.

What does the 145 gsm weight and 7.6 mil thickness mean for durability when the paper is unrolled on a daily shoot?

At 145 gsm and 7.6 mil the paper resists tearing and punctures during repeated unrolling, foot traffic, and clamp tension, yet remains light enough to handle on standard 86-inch wide background stands.
