Professional studio backdrop

Savage Widetone seamless background paper is a smoke gray roll built for photographers, videographers and streamers who need a smooth, non-reflective surface for portraits, product shots or social-media content. The fine-tooth finish resists wrinkles and creases, so the backdrop stays flawless under continuous lighting or flash.

86-inch by 36-foot roll

The single specification that determines fit is the roll size: 86 inches wide and 36 feet long. This midsize format covers full-body portraits in tight spaces and fits inside virtually any car for on-location shoots, yet it cannot serve sets that require a wider or longer continuous background.

Ready-to-use paper roll

The package contains only the paper roll itself; no core adapters, clamps, stands or carrying bags are included. Buyers who need mounting hardware or a transport case must source those separately, while users who already own a compatible backdrop system can unroll and shoot immediately.

Questions about this item

How much shooting distance does the 36 foot length actually give me in a typical studio?

The roll provides 36 feet of paper, so you can unroll exactly the sweep you need for full-body portraits or group shots and still have plenty left for future sessions.

Will the 86 inch width cover a standard backdrop stand without seams?

At 86 inches wide, the paper spans most standard cross-bars edge-to-edge, giving a seamless background for individual portraits and small product setups.

What core size does the #74 roll use so I know it fits my backdrop system?

Savage Widetone rolls are wound on the industry-standard 2-5/8 inch core, which slides onto virtually any background stand or wall-mounted bracket.
