Wide studio backdrop for portraits

This Savage Widetone seamless paper roll measures 86 inches wide by 36 feet long in True Blue shade 75. The non-reflective surface gives photographers a clean, continuous background for headshots, full-length portraits and product work. The generous length allows multiple sessions before a fresh section is needed.

Smooth matte finish handles heat from lights

The heavy-weight paper resists wrinkles and stays flat under continuous studio lighting without curling at the edges. Its matte texture minimises hotspots and glare from strobes or constant-output fixtures. The roll stores vertically on a standard backdrop stand and unrolls evenly for quick colour changes between shoots.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 86" wide paper roll on a standard background stand without it sagging?

Slide the core onto the crossbar, centre the 86" width, and clamp both ends before unrolling; the step most people miss is tightening the stand's brake so the 36' roll feeds evenly.

When will the True Blue #75 surface need replacing during regular studio use?

Replace the roll once the 36' length shows creases, tears, or colour shift from handling; the paper is a consumable background, not a permanent fixture.
