USB WiFi 6 adapter for desktop and laptop upgrades

This USB WiFi 6 adapter adds 1800Mbps dual-band wireless to PCs and laptops. It connects through a USB 3.0 port and supports IEEE 802.11ax/ac/n/g standards. The compact black dongle measures 0.47 in x 0.15 in x 0.05 in and weighs 0.032 kilograms. Buyers who need an internal PCIe card or Bluetooth capability should look elsewhere.

Four high-gain antennas with MU-MIMO and OFMDA

Four external high-gain antennas extend signal reach and improve wall penetration. MU-MIMO and OFMDA allow simultaneous data streams to multiple devices without buffering. The 5 GHz band reaches 1201Mbps for gaming and 4K streaming while the 2.4 GHz band provides 576Mbps for everyday tasks. WPA3 encryption secures the connection.

Check USB port version and router compatibility

Verify the host computer has a USB 3.0 port to achieve the rated throughput. The wireless router must support WiFi 6 and the same IEEE 802.11ax/ac/n/g protocols for full performance. Driver installation is required on the operating system. Users without a compatible router or available USB 3.0 port will not see the advertised speeds.

Questions about this item

Will the four high-gain antennas need replacement or maintenance later?

The four high-gain antennas are fixed external components with no moving parts; no scheduled maintenance or replacement is required under normal use.

What limit appears first during sustained 1800 Mbps dual-band transfers?

The USB 3.0 interface provides the practical ceiling for sustained 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 576 Mbps on 2.4 GHz throughput.

How much heat or noise does the adapter produce when running all day?

The adapter has no fan and draws power only from the USB port, so it runs silently with negligible heat during continuous operation.
