24-inch 100Hz gaming monitor

The Sceptre E248W-FW100T is a 24-inch gaming monitor built around a 1920 x 1080 LED panel with a 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It targets competitive players who want smooth motion in fast-paced titles without stepping up to higher resolutions or refresh rates. Built-in speakers and a frameless design suit compact desk setups where space is limited.

Sustained 100Hz performance

The panel maintains its 100Hz refresh rate over extended sessions through DisplayPort or either HDMI 2.0 port, so frame delivery stays consistent during long matches or streaming marathons. AMD FreeSync adaptive sync reduces tearing when frame rates fluctuate under heavy GPU load. FPS and RTS preset modes adjust colour and contrast instantly for different game genres without manual tweaking.

Thermals, noise and power

Passive cooling keeps the monitor silent in normal use because there are no moving parts to generate noise. The LED backlight runs efficiently at the rated 100Hz, and the blue-light filter lowers eye strain during late-night sessions. A VESA mount option lets you remove the stand entirely, improving airflow behind the panel if the monitor sits in a tight enclosure.

Questions about this item

Does the 100 Hz 1 ms panel stay quiet and cool during all-day gaming sessions?

The monitor has no fan and uses an LED backlight, so it runs silently and produces only typical panel warmth during extended use.

Which cables or adapters do I need to get 100 Hz from the DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.0 ports?

A DisplayPort cable or an HDMI 2.0 cable is required; the box includes an HDMI cable, so only add a DisplayPort cable if you prefer that input.

Will my older GPU that maxes out at 1920 x 1080 work with the FreeSync adaptive sync on this screen?

Yes, FreeSync operates at the monitor's native 1920 x 1080 resolution, so any GPU supporting that resolution can use the variable refresh feature.
