Schneider Electric GVAN20 Auxiliary Contact

This Schneider Electric GVAN20 auxiliary contact provides two normally open circuits rated at 6 A for side mounting on GV2 and GV3P series devices. It suits electricians and panel builders who need instantaneous contact status feedback in motor control circuits.

Instantaneous side-mount contact block

The block mounts directly on the side of compatible starters, adding two NO contacts without using DIN rail space. Its screw-terminal design allows straightforward wiring during panel assembly. Buyers who require normally closed contacts or a different mounting position should select an alternative accessory.

Questions about this item

What does the 6 A rating cap in practice for the GVAN20 auxiliary contact?

The 6 A rating caps the maximum switching current per contact, limiting the load each normally open circuit can carry in control circuits.

What does the side-mounting design need to fit the GVAN20 on GV2 or GV3P series devices?

The side-mounting design needs the available lateral slot on compatible GV2 or GV3P series contactors for direct attachment.
