This Schneider Electric joystick operator mounts in a standard 22mm panel cut-out and provides two-direction control with a maintained action. Each direction operates one normally open contact, giving a simple on-off signal per axis. The unit ships complete with its contact block for fast installation. It carries UL, CSA and CE certifications and meets IEC standards.

Two-direction control with maintained positions

The operator handles basic directional tasks such as up-down or left-right selection where the lever stays in the chosen position until moved again. One normally open contact per direction supplies a single switching point per axis. It is not suited for momentary return-to-centre applications or for systems that require more than two discrete positions or multiple contacts per direction.

Replaces individual push-button pairs

Builders upgrading from separate push buttons gain a single compact device that reduces panel space and wiring effort. The jump is worthwhile when a maintained two-axis function is needed and the NEMA 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12, 13 environmental ratings match the enclosure requirements. It does not fit applications needing three or more directions or momentary spring-return action.
