Protects LC1D40A to LC1D65A contactors with a 48-65A Class 10 three-pole overload relay featuring single-phase sensitivity
The Schneider Electric LRD365 is a three-pole thermal overload relay designed to protect motors in industrial control circuits. It mounts directly onto LC1D40A through LC1D65A contactors, providing a compact protection package for panel builders and maintenance engineers.
This relay fits installations that already use Schneider LC1D40A to LC1D65A contactors and need Class 10 overload protection with single-phase sensitivity. It is not suitable for applications requiring a different contactor series, a higher current range than 65 A, or an automatic reset function.
The adjustable dial sets the trip point anywhere between 48 A and 65 A, and the Class 10 characteristic defines the tripping time under overload. Matching this range to the motor full-load current is the single specification that determines whether the LRD365 is the correct protective device.

The LRD365 is designed for use with LC1D40A to LC1D65A contactors from the same manufacturer.
No, the relay is specified for LC1D40A through LC1D65A contactors, so a smaller contactor falls outside the stated range.
The relay uses a manual reset; after an overload trip the reset button must be pressed by hand before the circuit can be re-energised.
