Bluetooth 5.2 Audio Adapter

The Scosche AK3056R Pro adds wireless streaming to any stereo system that lacks Bluetooth. It connects through a 3.5 mm AUX or RCA input and pairs with smartphones, tablets or computers. NFC allows one-touch pairing with compatible phones. The unit draws power from a 5 V USB source.

Home and Car Listeners

This receiver suits anyone who wants to play music from a phone through existing wired speakers or a car head unit. It is not for buyers who need a built-in amplifier or a battery-powered portable device. It also does not support multi-room audio or voice-assistant integration.

Bluetooth 5.2 with NFC

The decisive specification is the Bluetooth 5.2 chip combined with NFC pairing. Version 5.2 provides lower latency and a longer range than Bluetooth 4.0, while NFC lets supported phones connect with a single tap. If your phone lacks NFC you can still pair manually, but the one-touch convenience will be unavailable.

Questions about this item

Does the Scosche AK3056R Pro include cables or must I buy them separately?

The box supplies a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable and an RCA cable so you can connect to speakers or a stereo without extra purchases.

Should I choose this Bluetooth 5.2 model or an older Bluetooth 4.0 version?

Bluetooth 5.2 gives longer range, lower latency and better power efficiency than Bluetooth 4.0, making it the stronger choice for streaming.

What does the 10-metre indoor range mean when the receiver is behind a TV cabinet?

The 10-metre figure is measured without obstacles; walls or furniture will reduce the practical distance, so keep the path as clear as possible.
