Bluetooth FM Transmitter Kit

This Scosche BTFREQ TM Pro kit plugs into a 12 V charging port to add wireless audio streaming and hands-free calling to a vehicle. It draws power directly from the socket for unlimited transmitting and listening time. The unit also provides two charging ports for mobile devices.

Drivers needing audio and charging

The transmitter suits motorists who want to play music from a phone through the factory radio and take calls without a wired connection. It also serves anyone who needs to charge two devices at once while driving. Buyers whose vehicle lacks a 12 V accessory outlet cannot use this kit.

18 W USB-C Power Delivery port

The USB-C port delivers up to 18 W under Power Delivery 3.0, while the USB-A port supplies up to 12 W at 2.4 A. This combined output is the key figure for deciding whether the kit can fast-charge a specific phone or tablet during a journey.

What charging standards do the USB-C and USB-A ports support?

The USB-C port delivers 18W Power Delivery 3.0 for fast charging, while the USB-A port provides up to 12W at 2.4A and detects the connected device for optimal speed.
